Current AIG auto insurance policyholders can make payments online or over the phone by credit/debit card, as well as through postal mail via check. Call 1(866)-856-6855 to make a payment over the phone. To make a payment via the online system, follow the instructions in the ‘Make a Payment’ section below. To file a claim, get in touch with your private insurance agent, or call the dedicated claims line at 1-888 -760-9195.
How to Make a Payment
Step 1 – To make an online payment on your auto policy, go to this page (link opens in a new window/tab).
Step 2 – Click the ‘Payment’ button as outlined below. You will be transferred to the online payment site.
Step 3 – Enter your user ID and password. Click ‘Log In.’ The user ID is the first 10 digits of your account number. The account password is your five digit billing ZIP code combined with your broker’s identification number. All of this information can be found on your policy billing statements.
Note: After logging in the first time, you will be prompted to create your own password.
Step 4 – Enter your credit card information, and submit your payment. Payments may take up to five business days to fully process.

Forgot Password – On the payment login page click the ‘Forgot Password’ link. Enter your user ID and hit ‘Submit.’ A temporary password will be sent to your email address.
Note: You can also call technical support at 1-800-432-3174 to have your password reset.
