You can obtain a free Allstate auto insurance quote online via the website, over the phone (1-800-255-7828, available 24/7), or in-person at a local agent’s office (go to this page to find licensed agents in your area). The section below details how to use the website to receive your customized quote.
How to Get a Quote
Step 1 – The quickest way to begin the online quote process is to go to the homepage (press the ‘Get a Quote’ link at the top of this page).
Step 2 – Once on the homepage, click the button that is outlined in the screenshot below.
Step 3 – You will be transferred to the secure submission form, which is comprised of several steps. To begin, enter your first name, last name, date of birth, address, city, state, and ZIP code into the input fields (as seen in the below image). Click the ‘Start’ button.
Note: You can only view rate estimations online, you cannot purchase a policy online.
Step 4 – On the next page, you will select your vehicle information from the drop-down lists (year, make, model, body style, cylinders, doors). Click the ‘Add this vehicle’ button, and then ‘Continue’ at the bottom of the form to move on to the next step.
Note: You can also choose to enter the VIN of your car. In the upper right corner of the page, you will see the contact information of a local agent.
Step 5 – Enter the vehicle ownership details (if it is owned/leased/financed, and the date of acquisition), primary usage, and various discount opportunities. Click the ‘Continue to Drivers’ button to go to the next section.
Step 6 – There are three to four steps remaining (drivers, discounts, quote, and purchase).
Note: Click the ‘Continue’ button at the bottom of each step to move on to the next section of the form.
