Cigna health insurance policyholders can access their policy online via “MyCigna.” Once signed in to the online account management service, policyholders can check their coverages, make payments, print ID cards, view claim updates, update contact/address information, and more. The service can be accessed via the website or by downloading the mobile app (available for iOS , Android, and BlackBerry devices). Follow the instructions below to learn how to sign in, register a new account, reset your password, and file a claim via the Cigna website.
How to Log In
Step 1 – Begin by going to the main homepage (either click the “Login” link at the top of this page – or enter http://www.cigna.com/ into your web browser’s URL bar).
Step 2 – Once on the homepage click the “Login” button (outlined below) to go to the main sign-in page.
Step 3 – Enter your user ID and password into the blank input fields and then click “Login.”
Forgot Password – If you do not know your password, press the “Forgot Password” link on the sign-in page. Enter your user ID and then click “Next.” After confirming your identity you will be allowed to create a new password for your account.
Enroll in Online Access
Step 1 – On the main sign-in page, press the “Register Now” button below the login fields.
Step 2 – Enter your personal details (name, address) and then hit “Next.”
Step 3 – Confirm your identity. After confirming your identity you will be able to create your login credentials (user ID and password).
Make a Claim
Step 1 – If you need to file a claim, go to this page and then click the “Reasons to File” link to find out whether you are personally responsible for doing so or not (if you are enrolled in an employer’s plan, they will typically be required to handle the filing of your claim).
Step 2 – If you are responsible for filing your claim, press the “claim form” link and then print out the form.
Step 3 – Fill out the claim forms and then mail them to office that is printed on the back of your insurance card. Processing time is typically 1-4 weeks.
