GMAC auto insurance policyholders can access their accounts online. By having an online account, existing customers can access and update their policy details, make payments and file for claims 24/7. Below is a step by step guide for logging in, signing up, making payments and filing for claims.
How to Log In
Step 1 – Go to the website (http://www.nationalgeneral.com/).
Step 2 – On the homepage, locate the “My Policy” form on the left-hand side of your screen as shown below.
Step 3 – Enter your policy number and click “Login”.
Step 4 – You will be redirected to the login page where you will be required to enter your user name and password. Click “Login” to access your account.
Forgot User ID or Password – If you have forgotten your password or user ID, click on the “forgot user ID or password” link on the login page. You will be required to enter your last name and date of birth to start the recovery process.
How to Enroll
Step 1 – Go to the homepage (http://www.nationalgeneral.com/).
Step 2 – On the “My Policy” form, enter your policy number and click “Login”.
Step 3 – You will be redirected to the enrollment page. Enter your policy number, date of birth and last name. Accept the terms and conditions then click “Enter”. You will now be able to set up your password.
Non-Login Payment
Step 1 – On the homepage, enter your policy number in the “My Policy” form. Click on “Quick Pay” to proceed.
Step 2 – On the next page, enter your policy number once more and click on the “Quick Payment” button. You can now proceed with the payment process.
Make a Claim
Step 1 – On the website, click on the “report a claim” link appearing at the bottom of the “My Policy” form.
Step 2 – Fill in the claim form and click “Submit”.
