Progressive Renters Insurance Login | Make a Payment

Policyholders who have registered their online account can manage nearly all aspects of their Progressive renters insurance online. Payments and claims can be made via the website, over the phone (1-800-274-4499), as well as at a local agent’s office. The sections below detail how to sign in to your account, register your policy online, make a payment without logging in, as well as  log in via a mobile device.

How to Login

Step 1 – Go to the homepage and press the ‘Login’ button as outlined below.

Step 2 – On the next page (you will be redirected to the secure sign in form), enter your user ID and password. Press the ‘Log In’ button to access your account.

Forgot Password – If you do not know your password or username, click the link directly below the sign in button (titled ‘Forgot User ID or Password?’). You will be transferred to the password reset/username recovery page. Enter your email address into the field, and then click the ‘Continue’ button. Provide all of the necessary information in order to verify your identity, closely following the on-screen instructions until your password has been reset/username recovered.

Enroll in Online Access

Step 1 – Register your policy online and create your account by clicking the ‘Register Your Policy’ link on the login page. You will be transferred to the account creation page.

Step 2 – You will need to enter your policy number (or driver’s license number). At the bottom of the page, press the ‘Continue’ button to move on to the next step of the registration process. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your account creation/policy registration.

Note: You can find your policy number on your insurance card, or one of your billing statements (in the upper right corner of the page).

Mobile Login

Access your account via a mobile device by following the instructions below.

Step 1 – Go to https://www.progressive.com in your mobile browser. Press ‘Log In’ as seen in the screenshot below.

Step 2 – Once on the sign in page, enter your user ID and password.

Make a Claim

To report a claim on your policy online, you must sign in to your account. You can also report a claim by calling 1-800-776-4737 (select option #1), or by meeting with your local agent.
