AIG auto insurance policies are designed for luxury vehicle/classic car owners and are offered via a nationwide network of independent agents/insurers. High-end vehicles are what the company specializes in, but vehicles of all types can be covered (including motorcycles, recreational vehicles, motor homes, etc.). Although you cannot get a free rate over the internet, you can request an agent to contact you for a free quote or ‘policy review.’ A policy review is when a licensed agent examines your current auto policy to determine which type of AIG policy you require. The instructions below go over how to request a policy review/custom quote online. How to Get a Quote Step 1 – Go to the private client site (http://www.aigprivateclient.com). Note: Right-click the ‘Quote’ button at the top of this page and then click ‘Open in new tab/window.’ Step 2 – On the homepage, click the ‘Policy Review’ button (outlined in red below). Step 3 – Enter your first name, last name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, email address, main phone number, select ‘Auto’ from the coverage drop-down list, enter your current carrier, complete the security form (captcha), and then hit ‘Submit.’ Step 4 – An agent will contact you to discuss your current auto policy, create a personal rate quote based on your coverage needs, and then work with you to design a custom policy.

Current AIG auto insurance policyholders can make payments online or over the phone by credit/debit card, as well as through postal mail via check. Call 1(866)-856-6855 to make a payment over the phone. To make a payment via the online system, follow the instructions in the ‘Make a Payment’ section below. To file a claim, get in touch with your private insurance agent, or call the dedicated claims line at 1-888 -760-9195. How to Make a Payment Step 1 – To make an online payment on your auto policy, go to this page (link opens in a new window/tab). Step 2 – Click the ‘Payment’ button as outlined below. You will be transferred to the online payment site. Step 3 – Enter your user ID and password. Click ‘Log In.’ The user ID is the first 10 digits of your account number. The account password is your five digit billing ZIP code combined with your broker’s identification number. All of this information can be found on your policy billing statements. Note: After logging in the first time, you will be prompted to create your own password.  Step 4 – Enter your credit card information, and submit your payment. Payments may take up to five business days to fully process. Note: If you want to pay via postal mail (with a check), mailing address information can be found on this page.  Forgot Password – On the payment login page click the ‘Forgot Password’ link. Enter your user ID and hit ‘Submit.’ A temporary password will be sent to your email address. Note: You can also call technical support at 1-800-432-3174 to have your password reset.
