NJM auto insurance policies can be managed online 24/7 via the website. Customers can determine payment and billing information, add or delete a driver or vehicle, change coverage or deductibles, update telephone numbers or addresses, change usage of vehicle and make payments. Below is a guide on how to log in, create an account, make a payment and file a claim.
How to Log In
Step 1 – Go to the homepage. On the menu appearing on the left-hand side of your screen, locate the “manage your auto policy” link as illustrated below. Click to proceed.
Step 2 – On the next page, click on the “login” link.
Step 3 – you will be redirected to the log in page. Enter your user ID and password then click on the “Login” button to access your account.
Forgot User ID – To recover your user ID, click on the “forgot user ID” link below the login form. You will be required to enter your policy number, street address and zip code. Enter the CAPTCHA code and click “Submit”.
Forgot Password – To reset your password, click on “forgot password” on the login page. Enter your user ID and policy number. Enter CAPTCHA text and click “Submit”.
Enroll in Online Access
Step 1 – On the homepage, click on ‘manage your auto policy’ as shown below.
Step 2 – Click on the ‘register’ link as shown below.
Step 3 – You will be redirected to the login page. Click on the “Register Now” link as shown below.
Step 4 – Enter your policy number, street address and zip code. Accept the terms of use and click “Submit”.
Non Login Payment
Step 1 – Go to the online payments page on the website. Click on the “Go to Just Pay It” link.
Step 2 – Enter your policy number and quote number. Click “Continue” to proceed with the payment process.
Make a Claim
Step 1 – On the homepage, hover over the “Claims” link on the top menu as shown below.
Step 2 – On the drop-down menu that appears, click on “Personal Auto”.
Step 3 – You will be redirected to the auto claims page. Click on the “Report an NJM Insurance Claim Online” link as shown below.
Step 4 – On the next page, click on “Report a New Claim for Auto or Home”.
Step 5 – Select whether or not you are an NJM policyholder.
Note: If the claim you want to make is for damage to vehicle glass, your windshield or you need immediate assistance, call the claims center at 1-800-367-6564.
Step 6 – Enter your policy number, name, address and contact details. Select the claim type (auto).
Step 7 – Enter accident details and indicate vehicle damage. Upload photos and note down comments you may have. Enter the CAPTCHA and accept the terms of use. Click “Submit” to complete the claims process.
